Just send a text message containing the @ symbol to update your location, or the ! symbol to update your status. For example "@ the mall" or "! eating dinner". Your friends can then find out your status by visiting your site or using text messages.

Type "MSG [username or phone #] text" to send a message to your friend's message board. If your friend has alerts turned on, he will get your message sent to his phone too.

How can I read my friend's messages from my cell phone using text messages?
Just type READMSG [username or password]. You will get the most recent message that was posted to your friend's message board. If you want a different message type READMSG [username or password] #.
How can I get a list of recent messages from my friend's message board?
Type NEWMSG [username or phone number] and you will get a list of the 5 most recent messages that have been posted to your friend's message board. If you want to read messages older the the last 5, type NEWMSG [username or phone number] #. And you will get 5 messages starting from the number you entered.
How do I download my friends pictures onto my cell phone using text messages?Just type 'ZAP [username or phone number]' in a text message and send it to 69927 (MYZAP). If you don't know your friend's username, you can try their phone number instead. The most recent picture that your friend uploaded will be zapped to your phone. You will receive a text message containing a WAP link. Use your phone's option menu to browse to the WAP link and the picture will be automatically downloaded on your phone. (If you have a Motorola Razr, click on the menu button, and then select 'go to' and your phone will automatically follow the WAP link to the picture.)
What If I want a different picture that my friend sent?
If you want to download a different picture from your friend, type the number of the picture you want after your friend's username. For example, text 'ZAP [username or phone number] 2' to 69927 (MYZAP) to get the second last picture your friend uploaded.
That sounds great, but how can I get a description of the pictures so I can choose which one to download?
You can get a list of descriptions of all the pictures your friend has
uploaded to phonezap by texting 'NEW [username or phone
number]' to 69927 (MYZAP). If your friend was too lazy to type a
description of their picture, you will see the date and time they uploaded
it.
Phonezap will reply with a list of the 5 most recent pictures that the user
has uploaded.
